We welcomed the new year in Montana! My father recently bought a house in Bozeman and we thought ringing in the new year in a beautiful new place would be a fabulous idea! It also gave us some crazy long family time being in a house with no internet of cell phone service!
The Beginning of our adventure!
Airport....
After a long flight, and a short car ride to downtown Bozeman we ate some yummy Bison Burgers at Ted's Montana Grill.

After lunch it was time to head to the cabin!

After traveling seeing a little of the town and eating some good Byson burgers we are finally at the cabin.... What to do now?! build a snow jump of course!

DAY TWO, We were in much need of some phone service so in to town we go! Also had to pick Jake up from snowboarding at the local hang out Bridger Bowl.

DAY THREE, HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY! After a long new years night and sleeping in, We started a Lord of the Rings marathon and Darren and I getting a little stir crazy went on a hike around the property during the second movie of the trilogy(which is my least favorite lol)
Darren got service at a random spot in our hike...had to check it :)

DAY FOUR, Major in town day! Dad and Tracy went and had lunch with a friend, Jake was snowboarding and Darren and I went off on our own. We walked around downtown Bozeman for a bit, bought some stuff at an antique shop and stumbled upon an Irish bar. of course we stopped in and had lunch and Darren chatted it up with the locals.
Had to stop at the local hardware store...found some awesome candies LOL

DAY FIVE, Darren, Jake, and I went on another hike of the property but up the back side. More amazing views and I almost died hiking up so high. LOL

First stop: the salt lick that in on the first hill behind the house.. .crazy tracks all over the place!
Up some more we go!
Second stop: ridge #2... I thought I was going to have a heart attack going up this hill!
DAY SIX, We hiked our butts off the other day, our last day in Montana we are hitting the slopes!

I fell on my tailbone for the second time and I was DONE

After our snowboarding day we went back into town for dinner..
DAY SEVEN, time to go home! We had a great time, saw some cool stuff, and froze our butts off but we were SOOO ready to be home.
